Privacy policy

Who we are. Perfect Pixels Digital Ltd, company number 15844541, registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for information collected through this website, and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZB811892.

What we collect. If you complete the enquiry form we collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, website address and whatever you choose to tell us about your project. If you email or ring us we keep that correspondence.

Why we collect it. To answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to carry out the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests for responding to enquiries, and contract for client work.

Who sees it. Our own team, and where a project requires a specialist we may share what is necessary with a trusted supplier under contract. We use a UK hosting provider. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for seven years to meet accounting requirements.

Your rights. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@pixelperfectwebsites.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. Nothing is stored on your device by us, which is why you have not been asked to accept anything.

We do measure how the site is used, but with privacy-first analytics that works without cookies and without tracking individuals. No personal data is collected, nothing is shared with advertising networks, and no profile of you is built anywhere. Because nothing is stored on your device and no personal data is processed, no consent banner is required under UK GDPR or PECR.

There are no advertising tags and no third-party embeds. Any video on this site loads only when you press play.

04

Accessibility statement

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible. It is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, and we test against that standard as we build rather than assuming.

Specifically: every page can be operated by keyboard alone; text contrast has been measured against the actual background rather than judged by eye; all animation is switched off automatically if your device is set to reduce motion; images carry text alternatives; and the before-and-after comparison slider is built on a standard range control that screen readers and keyboards already understand. The site remains readable and navigable with JavaScript turned off, although video playback does require it.

This site has not been independently audited. We are not aware of any part of it that fails WCAG 2.2 AA, but our own testing is not the same thing as a formal audit, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

If you find something you cannot use, please tell us at hello@pixelperfectwebsites.co.uk and we will fix it. We aim to respond within two working days.

05

Terms of business

Every project is governed by a written proposal and our standard terms, both issued before work begins. Those documents take precedence over anything on this website.

In outline: work is quoted at a fixed price against an agreed scope; changes to scope are quoted separately before they are carried out; intellectual property in the finished site transfers to you on final payment; and you own your domains, hosting and accounts throughout.

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance. Prices, timescales and availability are indicative until confirmed in writing.

What this means

The accreditations shown relate and belong to the hosting infrastructure and facilities used to provide our website hosting services. They cover areas including information security, quality management, business continuity, environmental management, energy management and data centre operations.

Our website hosting is provided through a UK-based hosting provider, which uses professionally managed UK data centre infrastructure. We manage the hosting service on our clients' behalf as part of the website services we provide.

The accreditations apply to the relevant hosting infrastructure and facilities supporting the delivery of our hosting services. They do not relate to the design, development or content of individual websites, nor do they apply to websites hosted through another provider.

Certification and accreditation schemes are independently assessed and maintained according to their respective requirements and renewal schedules. The information presented here reflects the accreditations associated with the hosting infrastructure at the time of publication. Where current certification status is important to your organisation, we can provide details of the relevant certification and its scope on request.

If your organisation requires a supplier to hold a particular certification or accreditation directly, please let us know before engaging our services so that we can confirm the relevant requirements and provide you with an accurate answer.

All certification names, logos and marks remain the property of their respective owners. Their use identifies the standards and accreditations associated with the hosting infrastructure supporting our services.

Something you would rather ask in person?

If any of the above raises a question, ring us. We would rather answer it than have you wondering.
